This month I need to tell you all about some changes that are going to happen soon. The Village and Community Agent scheme is combining with Social Prescribing to become a new service called “Community Connectors“.

Well, Autumn has well and truly arrived!!……………. misty mornings and damp starts, BUT,… lovely Autumn colours appearing on the trees and in the hedgerows,……… another good reason to get out and use our local footpaths!

Eastington Horse Show

Eastington Horse Show took place adjacent to J.13 on Saturday 6th August in challenging conditions!   A heavy thunderstorm in the morning necessitated holding the tents down and people diving for cover – but worse was to follow….

Snakey Park

Update from the Friends of Snakey Park We’ve had a great summer in the park, it’s a real pleasure to see so many people enjoying the space. The new roundabout has proved very popular and provision of the loo has allowed people to stay and play longer.

Eastington Yard Trail

What a fantastic day the first ever Eastington Yard Trail turned out to be! ( – and for those of you still wondering, it is simply a village-wide car-boot sale – held in driveways and front gardens – so that you can wander around the village picking up bargains as you go!). Ed.
