Dear Readers,
We bring you a little colour in these grey February days – a brief look back at the super job all of you did who supported the Eastington Christmas Tree festival. Well done to all concerned.
Looking ahead, in this issue we feature more of the big village events that are coming up as well as some reminders of the great venues that we are lucky enough to have in, or very close to, the village itself. .
For such a small village we do rather well, with our own Village Hall, the Community Centre and sports facilities and our own two great ‘pubs’ – not forgetting our school and churches – all with ‘goings on’ to which we are welcomed and can take part in – often, for many of us, without needing to even think about the car.
