Firstly some great news. Over the Christmas period the PA raised £2,500 to support the school. This is a significant increase on last year’s total and wouldn’t be possible without our brilliant committee and all those who contributed including the people who; manned stalls, donated items for hampers, baked cakes, promised items for the auction, purchased and wrapped over 100 gifts, donated toys and books (and in some cases brought them back again!), came to help set up, made beautiful things for the locally made stall, cleared up, placed auction bids, purchased tea towels, made posters, arranged and ran wreath making, and of course everyone who attended the events and spent their hard earned money and all the many other contributions, big and small that really make a difference to the school.
Increasingly these events are supported by the wider community, as volunteers at events, donating items and as small businesses sponsoring us, we couldn’t do it with out you so thank you.
Every penny goes towards improving the educational experience for our children and the impact of these additional funds is felt by every child in the school.
Our next Major event is Eastington Egg Hunt. We know this went down really well last year and we are pleased to say we have already had a fantastic response from many local businesses who are interested in sponsoring eggs. Closer to the time we will be appealing for volunteers to help on the day so please join us if you can.
