Wishing everyone a happy new year!
We are proud to announce that we have been able to maintain our 5* food hygiene award. This is awarded by Stroud Council after a spontaneous spot check of our kitchen and questioning of staff regarding Covid safety procedures. Well done to all staff.
This term we are focusing on developing our fine motor skills. We are using tweezers to move objects, using a hole punch with paper, threading and peeling masking tape off a table.
Developing children’s fine motor skills is imperative before we start teaching them to hold a pencil to develop the muscles in their little hands. Activities such as these ensure that children are developmentally ready to hold a pencil in preparation for the next stage of learning.
We have also been retelling the story of Goldilocks and the three bears; looking at size, discussing emotions, talking about stranger danger and linking this to e-safety and of course eating porridge and adding our favourite toppings!!
We have limited spaces left for this academic year, so please get in touch.
It is never too early to register your child with us.
Sessions for September 2022 are already filling up, so please contact us on 07977342742 or email us at eastingtonplaygroup@hotmail.com to arrange a visit or for a registration form.
