The overall attendance at this year’s show was 26 entrants, the same as last year, but entries were up by 9.
The judges said that they were very impressed with the quality of entries especially the flowers and vegetables.
Mr R Hughes was victorious in many of the categories taking home 5 trophies/cups/prize money including best in show and best allotment.
Mrs L Hughes (no relation) took home the majority of other trophies along with Mrs Jones (cooking) and Mr Broomhall for eco shield for fruit.
Children’s classes were won by G Crompton and A Wroe between them.
Lots of other people did very well and we as a committee are very pleased with the amount of entries and support for this years show and would like to thank you all.
