1st Eastington Brownies

We’ve had a busy few weeks at 1st Eastington Brownies.

Unfortunately our carol singing trip before Christmas was cancelled due to the Noro virus at the care home. We did meet for a Christmas craft evening, however,  in which the brownies re-cycled Aldi yogurt jars into beautiful Christmas tea-light holders and practiced gift wrapping skills. There was much chocolate consumed that night too!

We are concentrating on preparations for our Mama Mia Sleep-over, hopefully this will become a regular feature of our programme. We’ve had a beetle drive to know how to lay the table, we’ve taken an imaginary tube journey, where we counted stops on the Circle Line.

This week we will be travelling to Sweden on a pretend aeroplane in time for our sleep over on 26th January!

We are continuing exploring the new programme and brownies are achieving the new Interest badges, it was really interesting for us all to look and hear about a much loved coin collection.

We’ve had 2 girls achieve the much loved hostess badge before it is discontinued in September. The Leaders have also successfully achieved their new badges and demonstrated the different ways to achieve the new badges.

We still have spaces so if anyone is interested in joining 1st Eastington Brownies please contact :
