Eastington Playgroup

We started the first week back with dressing up for Halloween and the children enjoyed making pumpkin pictures with different shapes and listening to spooky stories in the dark den with torches.

The children dressed up again, this time as superheroes to support Children In Need and families made a voluntary donation to help make a difference. It was a good opportunity to talk to the children to raise their awareness of others less fortunate than themselves, especially with the Christmas celebrations ahead. We have taken £25 to send off – well done everyone who contributed!

The children made purple and red poppies to remember the brave animals and people who lost their lives in war for our country and these were sent down to Eastington Church for families to write messages in memory of loved ones.
