This half term we have been very busy fundraising and also thinking about others. We have also been fundraising for Children in need and the children have been dressing up and baking cakes to sell to raise money for others less fortunate than ourselves.
Well done Playgroup children we have raised £35 in cake sales and dressing up donations.

Pamper Evening – Playgroup would like to thank everyone who was involved and supported our Pamper evening on Friday 17th November. We were delighted to see not only parents from Playgroup and school but also people from the village. It was a very enjoyable evening, we had a hairdresser, many beauticians giving mini treatments such as massage, reflexology, threading and manicures all equally popular. There was also a Clairvoyant to visit which was very interesting and some stalls selling Christmas goodies. All topped off with a fantastic raffle and a glass of fizz.

Such a lovely evening and all raised funds will help support Playgroup to continue to extend children’s learning and keep up to date with new experiences.
Thank you ‘Ladies of Eastington’ you were so generous in donating your profits from your Christmas Craft event to us – we are very excited to use the money to put towards our Christmas presents for the children this year. Thank you again very much!

Christmas Tree Festival We are also planning to enter the Christmas Tree Festival at St Michael’s & All Angels Eastington church – our tree will be themed ‘Our Tree of the Natural World’, the children will be drawing a picture to hang on the tree of something they love about nature to focus on the natural world they live in. Everyone is invited to come and ‘vote’ for their favourite tree, £2 per voting disc.

If you read this in time, please come along and enjoy.
