District Councillors’ Newsletter 188

While restrictions are being eased on the office back to work programme, several staff at Ebley Mill have been “pinged” by the Track and Trace app and are either having to isolate or continue to work from home. Services are still being disrupted, including Waste and Recycling collections.

Katie Markwick has moved her job into Ebley Mill, so is no longer the Neighbourhood Warden for our area. Her replacement is Simon Jarvis, who can be contacted at simon.jarvis@stroud.gov.uk

Stephen and John were unsuccessful in their attempt to get the planning application to fill the old gravel pit to the rear of Fromebridge Service Station at least deferred for further information to be supplied, at best refused on Highway safety and Flooding issues. A majority of Development Control Committee members felt that there was sufficient information supplied in all respects, so the Officer’s advice to approve the application was carried.

Please contact your District Councillors if you have any Stroud District Council related issues.
