Be kind – show respect and care
We are aiming high together to be kind. Being kind means looking out for others, caring for them and treating everyone with respect. I have seen kindness in our school when children open doors for others and say thank you.

We are aiming high together to be cooperative. Being cooperative means that you work well together and share your ideas. I have seen this in class 4, when we did problem solving. My group and I used teamwork to complete the problem. Cooperative work is great. A group of brains are better than one!

We are aiming high together to be resilient. Being resilient means that you don’t give up and you keep on trying. I have been resilient in my artwork, keeping on trying until it is exactly how I want it to be.

We are aiming high together to be responsible. Being responsible means that you learn from your mistakes and you reflect on what you have done. I have been responsible in trial and error in problem solving. I had a go at a question, answered it, reflected on what I had done before having another go.

Be ambitious – challenge yourself
We are aiming high together to be ambitious. Being ambitious means to challenge yourself to be the best that you can be and push yourself out of your comfort zone. I tried to be ambitious in maths, so that I could get onto the problem and explain my thinking.
