I would like to introduce myself as Stroud District Council’s Neighbourhood Warden for Eastington.
I have been a Neighbourhood Warden for 11 years looking after other areas in the district. I have been covering Eastington for a couple of months building up my geographical and community knowledge.
As a Neighbourhood Warden we can help with the following issues: minor anti-social behaviour, abandoned vehicles, litter, fly tipping, supporting vulnerable people and minor neighbour disputes.
We also carry out home security checks and install Careline, the emergency call system.
Part of the neighbourhood warden’s role also involves working with other agencies from the Police, Adult Social Care, Dog Wardens, Environmental Health, P3(homelessness), Parish Councils and District Councillors etc.
