Emma Levan of Raffles Forest School has been working with children from Eastington Primary school, after school hours. They have a corner of the Eastington Community Orchard to make their own, and they have been going about this with some gusto in recent months. They have cleared a huge area of brambles and undergrowth and (with only a little help from a man with a digger) have now started to create the pond which will form the basis of the wildlife habitat they want to create.
Emma writes : “So proud of the children at Eastington’s Forest School Club. They worked so hard to clear the area and now we have a pond!! Who knew a hole in the ground would create so much excitement! FAB work everyone!
