We have had a very busy start to the new school term since September and have been settling into routines and supporting children’s transition to playgroup and encouraging independence for the older children.
We started the Autumn term by discussing holidays and have been drawing pictures to reflect events, families and objects, and we have also been blackberry picking and making pies to eat which proved very popular. Our allotment has grown over the summer and the children have enjoyed picking runner beans, peas and courgettes and have been digging up weeds with the grown-ups ready to try and plant some winter vegetables. A very productive start to the Autumn term!
