It’s nearly a year since Bluefrog Theatre Company performed ‘Paper Memories’ – a community piece of theatre that told stories about local folk in our wonderful village of Eastington.
It’s also 2 years since we performed our first performance, a comedy, set in a local village hall during the weekly Tai Chai session.
So, what about this year’s theatrical offering? I hear you say, well it’s been a different year and no one could have predicted this. Everyone has been affected in some way and the theatre world has got a long way to go before it has fully recovered. However, I have been busy writing and I’m hopeful that we can enjoy some local theatre once more. That said, Bluefrog will be performing this coming autumn and all being well there will be a little bit of theatrical light relief coming your way. Watch this space!
I can also confirm that the full 3 act comedy performance of ‘And Breathe….’ will be shown at a venue in Eastington in the Spring, I am really looking forward to getting the community back together and entertaining you all again.
As always, I will be looking for local actors to get involved, so if you fancy doing something different and treading the boards as it were, then get in touch.
