Eastington Village Hall Needs Your Help!
Eastington Village Hall sits at the centre of our village, but it doesn’t run itself. Down in the engine room there’s a Village Hall Management Committee. Most have been on the committee for years, all are volunteers.
The committee works to ensure the hall is safe, warm and compliant with regulations, sorting out any repairs that crop up. The committee has been thinking about upgrading the hall for some time. Anyone with an interest in our village and improving village life would be very welcome. Someone with experience in facilities improvement would be a godsend!
Please don’t think it would be an intrusion to put yourself forward for the committee – it wouldn’t be.
We meet a few times a year, and the meetings are seldom longer than 45 minutes.
If you would like to be part of the team involved in improving and running the Hall please don’t hold back. It’s not difficult, and it’s satisfying to be part of a team that keeps the hall open for business.
