At our April meeting we met Ginny and had a very informative and pleasant evening discussing Alzheimer’s and Dementia. We talked about what Dementia was and broke down some of the taboos surrounding it leaving us all with a much better understanding.
We have made a generous £40 donation to the Alzheimer’s Society and consider ourselves ‘Dementia Friends’.
A huge thank you to Ginny and to Lynne Jessett Floristry for the beautiful bouquet she donated to Ginny to take for her residents to enjoy at the home she works at. Thanks also to The Kings Head for the exclusive use of their private room.
Mays meeting was a social catch up, a chance to have a natter and see what everyone’s been up to and plan for future meetings
June’s meeting has been organised by Tease salon and a select number of people will be attending the salon for demonstrations of new products and treatments! We are very excited.
