The hugely successful Eastington Egg Hunt is back for its second year!
This annual community event is run by Eastington School Parents Association and Eastington Playgroup Committee to raise money for vital learning equipment. This year it takes place on Saturday 14th April between 10am and 5pm. Last year saw over 350 children and their families take part in the fun in what was a great day out for all the family – fingers crossed for another glorious sunny day.
Around 30 beautifully designed eggs will be hiding around the village for you and your children to find. Every completed trail map will be rewarded with a delicious chocolatey treat. This years’ children’s TV themed hunt begins at School taking in circular walk around the village. The Kings Head House Hotel will provide a stop off for weary legs with the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and play some games. We are very grateful to all local companies, organisations, parents, children and friends coming together to help support the event. In addition to the trail there will be a bouncy castle, face painting, food stalls, raffle and tombola. Why not dress up as your favourite TV character?
Maps for the event will be on sale from School and Playgroup shortly costing £3 for your first child and £2 for siblings (under 2s are free).
A little plea to all local residents that you walk down to the start at the school so that we can keep traffic (and parking) to a minimum.
Have a great time! We look forward to welcoming you all.
